Strategy Alignment & Innovation workshop
A facilitated workshop for leadership and innovation teams who need to see the same picture, choose fewer priorities, and leave with a roadmap they can actually own.
01
Leadership groups, innovation teams, and organisations refining their strategic direction.
02
Two days in person or a four-week online programme, tailored to your challenge and group.
03
LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®, Agile Strategy Mapping, and Futures Thinking, combined to fit the question.
04
In person or online for teams, organisations, institutions, and leadership groups.
The challenge
Most teams do not lack ideas. They lack a shared picture of where they are, what matters most, and which ideas deserve time and money. This workshop makes those different views visible first, then uses structured convergence to turn them into a small number of priorities the team can own.
✓
A structured process to align perspectives, test assumptions, and select strategic priorities together.
×
Not a vision-statement exercise, a motivational offsite, or a substitute for the data and analysis your decisions still need.
Why it works
01
Everyone contributes before the discussion converges, so the strategy reflects the whole room, not only the loudest voice.
02
Shared models and maps expose the dependencies, tensions, and competing priorities that usually stay implicit.
03
Priorities are selected against agreed criteria, not through negotiation, seniority, or fatigue.
04
Each priority leaves with an owner, a next action, the evidence still needed, and a decision date.
Process
01
We agree on the strategic question and the decision the workshop must support.
02
Participants build and share their view of the current reality and its tensions.
03
The group explores possible futures and the opportunities worth pursuing.
04
Individual views are combined into one shared strategic landscape.
05
Options are clustered, then selected against explicit criteria.
06
Priorities become a roadmap with owners, next steps, and follow-up.

01
A visual landscape of your current reality, its tensions, and the opportunities in front of you.
02
A short list of strategic priorities, chosen against criteria the team agreed on.
03
A clear sequence of what happens first, what follows, and what is deliberately left out.
04
Every priority with a named owner, a first action, and a date to review it.
05
The assumptions and evidence gaps to resolve before committing more resources.
06
A compact visual summary for the wider team and a fuller write-up for the people deciding.

FAQ
The people who shape and carry the strategy: usually a leadership team, an innovation team, or a cross-functional group. We agree the participant list together during preparation.
We start with a short conversation to clarify the challenge, the decision the workshop must support, and who is involved. Participants do not need any previous experience with the methods.
Often, yes. It is one of the methods used to make perspectives visible. The final mix of methods depends on your challenge, your group, and the time available.
Yes. The in-person version typically runs over two days; the online version is spread over about four weeks of shorter sessions.
You receive a synthesis of what was built and decided. A follow-up session can be added to resolve open evidence questions and confirm owners, actions, and dates.
No. The LEGO Group does not sponsor, authorize, or endorse this website or these services.
When everyone can see the same picture, choosing becomes possible. That is when strategy stops being a slide and starts becoming work.
